MEASURE HORIZONTAL BLINDS – INSIDE MOUNT:

1. Measure the exact width (left to right) inside window frame in 3 different places, (top, middle, and bottom). Record the narrowest/smallest measurement.

2. Measure the exact height (top to bottom) inside window frame in 3 different places (left, center, right). Record the longest/tallest measurement.

3. DO NOT take ANY deductions from the measurement as allowances will be made at Blinds Etc. factory to ensure your blinds are a perfect fit.

MEASURE HORIZONTAL BLINDS – OUTSIDE MOUNT:

Outside mount blinds are installed outside the window frame which covers an area slightly larger than the window.

1. Measure the exact width (left to right) to be covered, adding 1 to 2 inches to the width on each side for light control and privacy. Be sure to let us know if there are any cabinets, walls, or other obstructions on the sides of the window which Blinds Etc. factory needs to take into consideration.

MEASURE VERTICAL BLINDS – OUTSIDE MOUNT:

Be sure to let us know if there are any cabinets, walls, or other obstructions on the sides of the window which Blinds Etc. Factory needs to take into consideration.

2. Measure the exact height (top to bottom) to be covered. Add minimum 6 to 8 inches to prevent light from coming in.
